We fixed some lightly bent spokes. Wheels run true. We cleaned the seatpost and tube. Added some lube to the tube. We replaced the original Simplex derailleur. It was positioned to close the the lower gear cogs on the rear wheel. Not sure why, may have lost some of it's spring tension in the top section over the years and didn't have any adjustment capability. We replaced it with a vintage Suntour "Seven" that we had. The Suntour has an adjustment positioning screw. Also it had a longer top section in the mounting area. Prior when shifting from 1st to 2nd the derailleur position would sometime cause the chain to ride up on top of the individual chain ring. We tightened the crankset a bit. We adjusted one of the pedals for rotating tension. We replaced a set of brake pads that weren't grabbing well. we might replace the other set also. Pretty looking vintage city road bike by Peugeot.
Good for somebody smaller than 5'7" or 5'8" if you like a casual fit. I'm 5'7" and raised the bike seat up to where I like it so I can get good leg extension. See photo with raised seat. There's a 2" adjustment positioning on the seat/saddle rails. For a woman or man. I've been riding the bike for several weeks now while I work on it.

Schwinn World Sport (Tall/Extra Large) Road Bike
Like new vintage used "Tall" road bike. I have a classic Schwinn "World Sport" for sale. Bike has
been partially overhauled by Dave's Bikes & Restoration, 646.441.0839. Some
parts replaced, not too much, Rear skewered axle had a slight bend to it. So I
replaced it with a new solid axle. It's a fairly large size frame for a big
person. So, if your a big guy and hit a pot hole and all of your weight on the
back of the bike is on a hollow axle. It could bend. So I reccomend a solid
axle. Front wheel is still a skewered type. Nice Sugino VP crankset, 36 tooth
inner ring, 52 outer ring. Shimano derailleurs, etc. Araya alloy rims. Total of
12 speeds. Nice commuter road bike or possibly a touring bike. Of course it's
been tuned. Wheels hubs rebuilt with fresh lube and trued if needed. Very Good
quality used road bike. It's a used bike so don't expect it to look brand new.
But I'll say this, the bike looks like it has seen very little use. Brand new
tires on the road bike. 25"(63.5cm) (big and tall) size frame. Good for somebody about 5'10"+
on up to 6'+ depending on what type of fit you like. In general it's a tall extra large size bike for a tall rider. Medium weight on the frame.

When I acquired this bicycle it was missing a pedal and the front wheel was a steel rimmed rather than an alloy rim which was original to the bike. The front wheel was replaced to match the rear wheel and give it some more lightness. Also an older type velcro'd water bottle holder was replaced with a contemporary water bottle cage holder. By far, the best looking vintage road bike in showroom condition that I've ever had for sale. Looks like it was ridden a few times then sat in a garage for another 20 years. Beautiful looking vintage city speedster by Schwinn bicycle company. Originally marketed as part of the lightweight bicycle series of Sprint & World road bikes. Converted by local retailer into a city townie bike with up handlebars. They don't make them like this anymore. Good for somebody 5'8"/5'9" or taller. I'm 5'7" and if I put the seat all the way down it fits me. If for some reason I wanted to convert this back to a road bike with drop handlebars or track handlebars it might not fit me due to the increased reach. Just want any potential buyer to be aware of this beforehand. For a Schwinn bicycle collector. See the More Images link for detailed photos. if you are a Schwinn bicycle collector you should think about adding this to your collection. Head badge stamped 3649 (Dec 30th 1989). Raleigh Grand Prix City Townie 10 Speed Bicycle
98% of the bicycle has been overhauled. Then tuned. Wheels rebuilt. Crankset and headset rebuilt. Didn't need to do the headset, but with a bike of this age it's good to do it. That was 3 years ago or so and it's been in storage ever since. Bought the bike when I found so I would have spare parts for my other Raleigh Grand Prix. Unfortunately there's never any need to replace any parts on a Raleigh. Did I mention. It's a Raleigh. That famous bicycle company world reknowned for their bicycles. Good for someone approximately of the following height range: 5'8 or 5'9" on up. I will work with any potential buyer of any of my bikes for a half hour or more to see if the bike fits you. Panasonic Sport 12 Speed Road Bike Vintage
(Tall/Extra Large Road Bike)
Semi Vintage used "Tall" road bike. Restored by Dave's Bikes & Restoration, 646.441.0839. Some
parts replaced, not too much. Crankset was a 165mm, which wasn't original to the bike. And not the right size for this tall / large road bike. So I
replaced it with a 175mm vintage Sakae crank set with longer arms: 175 mm. 40 tooth
inner ring, 52 outer ring. Rings were precision aligned. Wheels rebuilt. It's a fairly large size frame for a big
person. Shimano derailleurs. Dia Compe brake set. Total of
12 speeds. Nice commuter road bike or possibly a touring bike. Of course it's
been tuned. Wheels hubs rebuilt with fresh lube and trued if needed. Very Good
quality used road bike. It's a used bike so don't expect it to look brand new.
But I'll say this, the bike rides quiet after rebuilding everything on the bike except the headset. Brand new
tires on the road bike. Approximately 25"(63cm) (big and tall) size frame. Good for somebody about 5'10"+
on up to 6'+ depending on what type of fit you like. In general it's a tall extra large size bike for a tall rider. Medium weight on the frame.

Raleigh Technium 450 Lightweight Small Road Bike
Semi Vintage lightly used "Small" road bike. Restored by Dave's Bikes & Restoration, 646.441.0839. Triple crank set. # Inner ring, # outer ring. It's a fairly small size frame for someone about 4'10 - 5'4" max
approximately. Shimano derailleurs. Dia Compe brake set. Quick release hand brake levers for easy wheel on/off. Lots of alloy components. Including alloy wheel set and alloy combo frame. 6061-T8 tubing, not sure if any Reynolds was used in the rear cromoly triangle. Very lightweight. Not carbon light, but lighter than most road bikes I ride. Total of

quality used road bike. It's a used bike so don't expect it to look brand new. But it does look newish. Great paint.

Wheels rebuilt; new cones installed on the rear. Rear freewheel cleaned. New foam on the top section of handlebars. Brand new tires installed. I kept the original seat which is in new condition. Paint is in excellent condition for a bike of this age. Good for New York City riding or your neighborhood. Even commuting. I took the bike for a 3 mile test ride up on down Tour de France type (category 2) hills and it performed well.

Durasport Mens Womens 10 spd Road bike - $150
Efficient bicycle for getting around. Seat post has an adjustment of several
inches. Currently set up for myself (I'm 5'7"). I raised the seastpost up 2"
higher for myself. This bike is reccomended for someone with an inseam of about
#" or smaller. Reccomended for a small to average size man/woman of 5'4" - 5'8";
maybe 5'4" depending on leg size. All original components. Chainguard(No need to
worry about pants). Tuned and overhauled. That means hubs were taken apart,
cleaned out and fresh lube put in. The good kind with little drag effect. Wheels
were trued, etc. Drive train taken apart & relubed. Excellent tread on tires.
Fairly lightweight, etc. Bicycle is in mint condition. Good for another 25 years
or more. Very easy to ride, not too heavy. Good neighborhood road bike.
Chainring ratios. 39-front inner ring, 52-outer ring
28 Rear Freewheel-1st gear.
Made in America. Semi Vintage. Rides really smooth.
